Hi Bessy. My sister was on holiday for a week so I was hopeful that there would be some communication by post when she was away. Not a thing so far.

Will keep you posted of any movements. I'd be interested to know how you get on too - any word from the Squirrel or how you get on with the chargeback from your bank.

Have contacted my bank and lodging a complaint and they are sending out a form to complete and send evidence to them. Once they complete an investigation they decide if they can do a charge back so will be a few weeks yet.

The bank had a telephone number on record which they called out and I didn't write down I thought it matched one I found on the internet but doesn't. The one I found was 01138500123. Google searches link it to Scatty Squirrel, Leeds and home catalogue shopping.

Hi Bessy. I'm just back from my hols and am pleased to report that my sister has had a refund. No apology or explanation, just contact to say they were surprised to receive her letter (there were 2 letters, both signed for) and that they'd been trying to contact her for her bank details to give her a refund, but had no luck contacting her. Funny, they had all her contact information several times over, but hey ho, she got her money back and has learned a valuable lesson in buying over t'internet.

That's the same phone number they eventually called my sister from.
