We have received a letter claiming we may be entitled to something, it has a few names in it that are related to us, it came with an envelope which has a signed for sticker on it. The company has a website and claims to be part of the heir hunters series on tv.
Has anyone dealt with them before or heard any information about them?
Thanks in advance

Avoid avoid avoid. They make extra charges and their solicitors were closed by the SRA to protect client funds !
REPLY ON BEHALF OF DSRESEARCHERS:
"There are no extra charges.
DSResearchers use various solicitors and not just one. DSResearchers acknowledge that they have used the solicitor referred to by poster Secretheirhunter and are working with the SRA to help them sort out the problems caused by that particular solicitor. DSResearchers had in fact already complained to the ombudsmen before the SRA got involved."0 -
Thank you, secretheirhunter , for your timely advice. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0

Hopefully you used the services of DSResearchers and were not put off by the Competitor who wrote a slanderous remark on this forum. Secretheirhunter unfortunately isn't so secret and has been shut down on Twitter for remarks they make on all other Research firms. Professional researchers do not make a habit of slandering other firms and writing untruths!
Always check out the firm and talk with them first.0 -

Likewise, the poster you mention above as having made a 'slanderous remark' has not logged on since the day they posted the above reply - almost 18 months ago.
Just wondering what is the reason for you dragging up this old thread.0 -

But if your contacted by someone what steos should you take to verify them and how do you do it without their help?
