Charity Savings Account

Hello, bit of an odd one and I was wondering if anyone could help out, I run a Community transport Project and we are looking for a better rate for our minibus savings fund, were not after anything special, just something which will give us a good rate for our hard earned savings.
We were thinking on the lines of maybe a thirty day account, but are really not sure because i think it will have to be a business account.
Anyways, heres hoping you can help,
regards
Louise

PS were an industrial and Provident Society with Charitable status if that helps or hinders?
Cheers, Louise

    [Slightly contentious answer warning.....]

Had you not considered leaving it with a Charity bank - such as CAF - for no interest? In other words why would any charity want to earn any interest on its money - the money is for using up? I know that larger charities do this ["Put a bequest in your will to us..."] but I object to that practice. Gordon Brown (he he!) could start with those big cash cows and tell them to divvy it out or lose some of their own tax haven status.

For smaller charities access to money is surely more important than knowing they are getting half a percent more here than there. And any bank 'Proper' is just making a profit by holding your money. Give that profit to other charities, I say.
