Just found out my offer is minced beef (not lean) for £1 per 500g pack.
Only 3 offers for myself also and the other 2 are:
Tomatoes (loose as above) for 99p per kg
    Dolmio sauce for 99p

Looks like another blank week and the Scottish offer are much better.

I want chicken breasts (stamps feet and stamps them hard!!). :D

London area is the same as these offers, will probably get the mince

Me for the mince too. Am cutting back on meat, and mince is easy to re-package for the freezer. Roll it and cut into ten portions.
  • Do they have a different offer each week then? Do they usually have good stocks of the things on offer or do they run out quite quickly?

Yes, Nearly, loads of Kievs on the Sunday here, yet think beef will go quickly. So 8am visit. Max six per customer. Usually enough for most people.

I do mine slow roasted with chinese five spice then do a sauce with soy, honey and chili...really yummy!

If you try to find slices that are relatively meaty then slow cook them, a lot of the fat melts away during the cooking so they really aren't as bad as they first appear.

I'm tempted to try to get some of the mince from my local - it's BBQ season and I like to make big batches of burgers to freeze and take out to put on the BBQ when we get a nice day :)
Common sense?...There's nothing common about sense!

I would have preferred the belly pork to the minded beef.
