Bad seller, possibly going to get my first neg

Hi All,

I bought an item from ebay 10 days ago and paid immediatelly. Seller was prompt in dispatching the item next day, so thought everything was going good.

After 10 days, I have not received the item yet, so thought will ask the seller if he can track it somehow (dont know how as it was supposed to be sent using RM second class). Asked the seller a very polite question and the reply I got was:

"wot u mean u hv not received it u rip off idiot"

I think totally unwanted reply at this stage. Possibly going to get a neg from this guy. I am on ebay from long time (7 years i think) but have only bouth around 40 items. Is a neg going to affect much?

Thanks
Vik

You can't receive a neg as a buyer.
    Just open an INR case.

Just raise an Item Not Received claim with PayPal, and then compose a well worded neg, such that the seller won't be able to get it removed (I'm sure someone on here will be able to help with that).

Any seller with an attitude like that won't (or shouldn't) last long on Ebay.

Thanks guys. Good to know that I cant get a neg as a buyer.

Got a reply from the seller. He said he doesnt think that RM can go wrong, but its me who is a rip off. He has said that he has put the money back to my paypal. I cant see it though. Does it take a while to appear in my paypal account?

Is there any way I can find out from RM? I guess there will be no tracking for second class mails, rt?

Also, he says he is going to remember me :)

If he has refunded, you will see it in your PayPal account straight away.

You don't need to contact RM, that's the seller's problem not yours.

No, I dont see tany refund in my paypal account though the seller says he has refunded.

Afte rfew more emails, I think the seller has realised that I am not trying to con him. He said that he had posted two items on the same day - one to me and one to another buyer and even the other buyer has reported the item as missing. Bit of a bad luck for him.

You should also have had an email from paypal to say he'd issued a refund if he was genuine.

Yeah well he'll have a bit more with a negative feedback from you and the other person :D

Last thing seller should do is call their buyers idiots and accuse them of ripping them off. Thats the best way to guarantee your feedback goes south.

As for the paypal refund he's yanking your chain. If he'd refunded you then it would show instantly. Open a INR dispute on ebay and get them / paypal involved. This seller sounds like a d*ck.

How extremely unlucky for the seller. Ripped off by two buyers on the same day.........NOT!! ;)
