hi
its me again with more silly questions!
1) our DD is sleeping in a moses basket on a stand. She is premature so quite small for moses basket. do people put things around the baby (leaving some distance of course) so there isnt too much empty space between baby and basket side?
2) she is exclusively fed expressed breast milk as she does not take anything directly!!!! we are using tommee tippee closer to nature bottles? these bottles have a vent? i understand this vent has to be kep on the top while feeding the baby? is the vent already formed or do i need to "open" it? by looking at it i couldnt tell for sure.

No don't put things around the baby. Suffercation and all that its not worth it.
I never used them bottles sorry.People don't know what they want until you show them.0 -
The vent should be formed. You can check by pinching in on the inside and it should bend open; or just try blowing through it.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience.- Mark TwainArguing with idiots is like playing chess with a pigeon: no matter how good you are at chess, its just going to knock over the pieces and strut around like its victorious.0

Can't help with the bottle question but if little one seems to be a bit 'lost' in the Moses basket or is waking herself up by flailing around a lot you could always give swaddling a go. It's not a good idea to put anything in the basket with them though, too easy for things to fall over/onto their faceIf you lend someone £20 and never see them again, it was probably £20 well spent...0

Have you tried nipple shields? She might take the breast better with those?0
