Npower bill query
Options
Received an email from npower today saying they are trying to collect money. They say i owe them £30. The trouble is i have not been a customer of theirs for 8 months
. How do i approach them with this, when i left they actually paid me money back & the same meter readings were given to my new provider. Any helpful replies gratefully received

An Email demand for money isn't good enough - What they must send you is either a detailed bill showing Dates & Meter readings, or a fully detailed letter showing how this debt has arisen
Email them back asking for the above0 -

Hi oysterman,
This does sound a bit odd, if you left npower over 8 months ago.
Pop me an email to forumresponse@npower.com with your name and address details and I can take a look and see why this has happened.
Best wishes,

Hi Adam, spoke to someone at npower, who after speaking to a manager told me verbally that it was all sorted & no payment needed. Just received a letter from npower, dated the same day asking for payment. Is this normal or have they got there wires crossed.
Hi oysterman,
If you could pop me over your details again to the email address and just flag that it is you, I'll get this looked into for you and see what's happening.
Many thanks,
