Hi - we;re going skiing at christmass to austria - two adults two children:j - we've booked flights diect with jet2 and booked the hotel direct. I've searched the forum and see we need travel insurance which covers indirect loss - trying to find any which offer this in their small print is proving difficult - can anyone help me with a short-cut please if they have managed to find this type of insurance. someone mentioned sainsburys =- have emailed them last week but not had a reply.......

If you search for 'independent traveller Insurance', you will see a number of companies provide this. I think it was AXA that started this cover and it appears companies that use them can arrange it. The only problem is that AXA don't have the best reputation for their customer service. e.g problems when people come to claim.

If you have a problem with any organisation, enter into their official complaints process at the earliest opportunity, as sometimes complaints have to be started within a certain time frame.0
