The 1,000 Day Challenge

Hi everyone!
Everyone has a dream, right? My dream is this - to find a space where my young family can grow up in freedom, building dens in the woods and laughing through their childhood. There are lots of places like this out there but personal circumstances tie me to a small area where that is not only rare but comes with an inflated price tag.
I've been motivated back to the Forum after going AWOL for several years because today I missed out on that dream space for the second time. I've walked past this place every day for 4 years, watched it be rebuilt from a ruin and poured my heart into living there. The reason I've lost out both times is because I don't have a lump sum in the bank. In the scheme of things, I know I am very fortunate, yet in house buying terms I'm heartbroken. All good for fuelling my determination!
So my aim is to save 30k in 1,000 days (by February 16 2016) and I'd love people to join me for the ride. Whatever your dream is, and however much you need to realise it, just post it below and I'll add you to the challenge.
Anyone is welcome to join; I'd especially love to hear from any of the original 4k Challengers still out there.

good luck! I need to save up for a deposit in about 500 days! eeeepTrying to save up for a deposit for a mortgage....could be a while!!
