Well, they were not that helpful. Not happy at all.
He was only repeating that I am a new driver, and when I would try to explain that I have been driving for 12 years he even would interrupt me.

Don't care what kind of discount they would offer, but I have rule to not make business with such attitude. Being aggressive on a sales line? Really????

Your options are pretty limited. Most uk companies will accept NCB from eu countries translated into English but very few will accept Bonus from other regions. If you had the company car for over a year many companies will accept a letter from your previous employer stating you've had a year of claim free driving, and give you a discount for that.

I am still struggling to find those few. Do you know any of them, so at least I can try and see what kind of quote I can get from them.

Some if the quotes I am getting are around 4000 pounds!!! I am getting very stressed now, cant even belive such numbers at this age and experience.

Think you need to try a local broker - one you can walk into and talk to.

    Do a search here http://www.biba.org.uk/

Well, no luck so far :(

I found some that claim they would accept a foreign NCD, but later got the excuse(from Adrain Flux) that we cannot accept the NCD because it dates back before the date of your UK driving license.

    I cant even believe it.
    Any thoughts, or pointers?
Much appreciate the hints and tips so far.

Not much you can do really. Pay up or stock up on the shoes and walk a lot.

Wont be long before your outrageous premium is the average policy price for good risk customers. I have lots of no claims, A good risk, A secure car Yet my premium is almost £500

I did a quote with direct line where i was insured for many years and they wanted £1000.

After searching for the tire day, so far the best one has been an offer from HSBC, 2500 premium, 250 excess.

Based on you experience, realistically, how much better of an offer shall I aim for?

    Thanks
