***MoneyMate*** on the appointment A4 sheet that has loads of rubbish on it too.
My time is normally 11AM to 11:30AM-I truthfully made the honest mistake of reading the finish time as the arrival time

If this 11-11.30 is your NORMAL time then you have attended at 11am so there is no excuse - sorry

Why were you late? There is no excuse unless you were ill, in a crisis or at hospital

How can you miss read a time?????

It's actually very easy and happens to the best of us and I'm surprised at how you have to ask that.

(I'm not referring to the authenticity of the OP, just the ability to misread a time).

    I've been Money Tipped!
***Blackpool_Saver** 30 min to me, thow others may disagree is trivial.
I've been an hour late for a paid job before, like others. All I did was work through my 1 hour lunch break, no going near the Gaffer's office. Debt then repaid.

I vote for TROLL - otherwise, if you believe what you've written here, you deserve to be sanctioned and I can't see you ever holding down a job with your attitude.
    :hello:

I ask as I have never been late to sign on at all EVER!!!!

Never misread a time at all or a date.

You read it when you are given the date, stick it on my lap top reminder and my phone keep all my appointments in my bag and look at all my JC and WP stuff at least every other day and have a planner.

No need to misread or turn up late to anything sorry

It is fatal as they can apply a sanction and all you have in your defence is you misread the time

Well lucky you, but probably billions of others have! Nobody is perfect and nobody remembers something correctly 100% of the time.

And there is no "need", it's not done on purpose and is certainly not due to being lazy or careless (at least not always).
