CTC casual work

Hi We get CTC. I have been doing self employed work. I'm giving that up and am thinking about doing supply teaching.

Do I need to tell them about variations in income every month?

Will they reassess it every month even though the amount is less than 25,000?

Hubby already does more than 30 hours so not affected by the 30 hours thing.

You are best to give an estimate for the year. And if you can afford to, over estimate your income rather than under estimate so that you don't get overpaid. If you are both working & you've no child care you are probably just getting the tenner a week anyway, so there probably wont be any change.

The more changes you report, the bigger the chance of the computer messing up your clai. Having said that, if you expect your income to increase, tell them straight away, as you will have to repay any overpayment caused by a rise in your income.
