Feed In Tariff Switch

I am an Npower customer who has just been presented with a 9.4% price hike from July on the Energy Online January 2014 tariff and am not happy. So would like to switch. However I have solar panels and am on a FIT tariff with npower too, does this stop me from switching?

    No!

You stay with the same company for FIT and can switch to whom you wish.

You can also switch your FIT's provider if you wish, though it would be fairly pointless, since NPower are compulsory FITs participants and have to take your account regardless of your supply.

    Hi Darkwing Duck,

I've just spoken to our FIT team for you and having your FIT with npower does not stop you from switching.

You can take you FIT with you to your new supplier, or leave it with us - completely up to you.

    Hope this helps!

    Adam :)
