Finacial Ombudsman turned down 2 cases for PPI

Just had two letters back from the financial ombudsman service saying they have looked into my cases with EGG(Barclays) and Capital one taken out in 2002 and 2003 both letters are exactly the same apart from the dates.
Saying both companies did not mis sell the policy even thou the information given to me was not very clear. I can appeal but dont know if it would be worth it?
Anyone have any advise?

We cant answer that without some info.
What were your reasons for complaint?
What evidence supported your complaint?

The terms and conditions were not detailed to the holder and policy exclusions including back and stress related time off work was not discussed.
Letter back from FOS
Looking at the information you had when you bought the policy, I think it is unlikely that clearer information about costs and benefits would have affected your decision to take out. I can see that barclays could have made it clearer to you, But I think your circumstances at the time suggest the policy was not to expensive for you. Concluding barclays did not mis sold the policy.0 -

That is a weak complaint reason. It doesnt really identify any wrong doing. Just a retrospective opinion in a hit and hope. Did you have anything stronger in your complaint?
