Hi,
I was wondering if anyone knows of a website/service that enables you to receive sponsorship money without having to represent a particular charity?
It will mostly be people from work donating for a personal cause and nothing to do with a charity. Just an individual.
Many thanks.

I am not aware of anything like that: you can of course set up a page to accept payments through PayPal, but unless money is going through one of the 'charity giving' sites you may find people unwilling to use it - for obvious reasons.Signature removed for peace of mind0

Fundrazr is one that I know some people use. Go get funding as well I've seen. Depending on what it's for you can also link through a charity called 'Tree of Hope' who receive the donations but then ring fence it for your personal use (think it's just fundraising for ill children though). Trying to do something similar myself at the moment (which is how I came across your question).0

I've seen people use http://www.gofundme.com/ - have donated via that site a couple of times and haven't had a problem.
I've never used it as a fundraiser though so I don't know anything about that side of things.0
