I have been looking at sold prices on various property websites to see what houses have sold for in areas I am interested in. All the properties have the sale date next to them but I am unsure what this date represents.
Is this the date the offer was accepted, is it the date of exchange or is it the date of completion?

It is the completion date - that is the day of the transaction. Just looked at our recent sale.0
