Kerry Farm is run by leading disability charity Papworth Trust. The main funder for Kerry Farm until 2015 is the Big Lottery Fund (BIG). However, we rely on voluntary donations to continue funding this vital service after 2015. If you’d like to help, you can support us by donating, fundraising or volunteering.

The breaks aim to help families who have a disabled family member enjoy some quality time together without worrying about daily stresses or caring issues. It offers the chance to try out and learn new things.
Our aim is to provide a holiday where parents can be parents to the whole family and not just carers, or likewise for children who may care for parents or older siblings.
You can find out more in the About section.
7. Can we specify when we want to go on the break?
When you apply you can tell us when you are not available. Please note that if you are only available for a few weeks, you may be less likely to be offered a break. This is especially true if the only weeks you are available are at peak times like school holidays.
If you are worried about taking your children out of school, we can provide a letter template which includes information about the break so that the school can understand why you are requesting an authorised absence.

Please see our what’s included page which explains the expenses we cover.

If you have not been selected for a break with us this year you may apply for a holiday next year. However, you will need to complete a new application form when applications open for the next year, as we know family situations can change and we will need the most up to date information from you in order to ensure your application can be considered fully.
12. What happens if we can no longer go on our break at Kerry Farm?
If you think your family may no longer be able to come on the break, please let us know as soon as possible so we can offer the break to another family.
If you would like to come to the Farm on another date, we can try to arrange this. However, there may not be another break available. In this case you will need to reapply to be considered the following year.
13. What happens if we accidentally damage something during our stay?
We understand that accidents happen. If you damage anything please tell a member of staff as soon as possible. We do not normally charge for any accidental damage. However, we will seek to recover costs of any wilful or malicious damage caused by your family to any farm property.
