I've lived at my property for over 20 years but am not on the electoral register. If I go on there now will it show on my credit report that I have been living here for 20+ years?

I doubt it. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong but you will only be shown as living there for the years you are on the electoral register. Its worth going on it anyway - several years ago I had trouble opening a Uk bank account on returning after a spell abroad as I wasn't on an electoral register anywhere

You should have been voting in the last 20 years!!


Anyway I registered in September but it didn't register till October so I assume you can't retrospectively add yourself- otherwise many would be ,literally rewriting history loool!

No it shows only from the date you registered and that also from the date they update the register

You could be fined £1000 for not putting yourself on the Electoral Register:-
