Has anyone used tyre sealant? I have a ride-mower, no very money saving but have a large garden and it was inherited, it has a slow puncture. Can you use tyre sealant when you already have a puncture or do you have to get it mended first? Does anyone know how you jack up a mower? Any recomendation for a sealant please.

There are the compressed cans (like aerosol cans) which you can use as an emergency sealant - that is designed to get you to the next available service spot/garage to get the tyre replaced. And I say replaced because garages have major problems trying to repair tyres which have this yukky goo squirted on the inside :rotfl:
Not sure about a garden mower, I guess you could try though be aware this could possibly scupper any chances of repairing it normally in the event it doesn't solve the puncture...0 -
If you can find the source of a leak you could try a bicycle puncture repair kit, otherwise you may need to get a replacement tyre.0

Most tyre and exhaust places can do repairs on ride on mowers.0

Give it a try, you're not likely to have a high speed blow out !!!
