Barclay Loan Dating Back To 1998 - Can I Claim PPI?

I took out a Barclayloan for £11,000 back in 1998. The PPI that was added on brought the loan to around £13,000. Since then, I have fallen behind with the payments due to becoming unemployed, and so am now paying off the debit at £1.00 per mont via a Citizens Advice Bureau payment plan.
What I want to know is, do you think I might be entitled to reclaim the missold PPI? Given the fact that the loan was taken out back in 1998, I was just wondering whether not it's too late to make the claim.
Thanks

You are entitled to complain. However, you havent said what your complaint would be. So, we cant really comment on that bit.Given the fact that the loan was taken out back in 1998, I was just wondering whether not it's too late to make the claim.
No.

My complaint is that I suspect I may have been overcharged payment protection on my 1998 loan.
I couldn't claim on the policy because my employment was terminated due to inefficiency.
So . . . do I have a case?0
