Sadly it was too long a walk from S. Wales. My boots had worn out by the time I hit the Severn Bridge. I did try old style moneysaving tips and put newspapers in them but it started to rain. Never mind I had a nice flask of tea and cheese sarnies. As I am veggie no :spam: for me LOL.

I did start to reply to this earlier then got distracted :o

There are a few members up in the Inverness area and I would certainly be up for a meet up that way as I can take the opportunity to meet up with aliasojo again ;)

Poppy, I laughed at your get together description. :D

Kabie, I'm further North than you. :)

I might want to play too, if the timing was right and I hadn't moved to Dunoon by then! ;)

I would suggest that it is held in Perth seeing as all the major roads in Scotland converge at Perth, and it's the most central major city/town (can never remember, know it was the capital centuries ago). On the travel front if it's organised well in advance you can get the megabus there and back for a quid!!
Sometimes i surprise myself by being right.

I will be away on holiday then too. Haven't decided where yet. Probably to wherever I get the best deal.
