    Sorry if I wasn't clear students can claim once there course has officially ended i.e at the Official term end (not when they leave) until they go back to uni subject to normal JSA rules ie looking for full-time (16HRS+ per week) employment.

    BT, I'm sorry but you're wrong. Students cannot claim JSA in the summer holidays as you state, only when the course has finished. They CAN'T claim "until they go back to uni", only when they've finished the course!!

    Yes Oldernotwiser is right as I said in my earlier post you cannot claim JSA in these circumstances.
