Hi, We booked a 4 night \ 2 Room booking with premier inn to go to a friends wedding (In August)...
I booked 'knowingly' as a "Premier Saver - No amends or refunds "
But the wedding has been called off!!
I have been in contact but they are sticking to their guns! No Refunds. (We don't even mind changing to another location)
Any advice?
I paid via a credit card..
Thanks

I can't see you getting anything back in this situation. If you knowingly chose the no amendments or refunds option then that's what they will hold you to.
I don't think paying by credit card will make any difference. sorry0 -

Is it somewhere you could go and have a nice weekend away anyway?Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the endQuidquid Latine dictum sit altum videtur0 -
Hi.. Its over 6 hours away ;(
Wish we could transfer it..0 -
So you took a chance and booked no refund accommodation because it was cheaper than the cost of accommodation that allowed a change or cancellation and now you want a refund! Why do you think it is cheaper? What do you think the terms and conditions mean?0

Your best bet would be to sue the people who cancelled the wedding.I consider myself to be a male feminist. Is that allowed?0

I don't think you have much chance of a refund, travel insurance might have covered you but the T&Cs for Premier Inn Saver bookings are very clear.
It's probably a useful warning to anyone booking accommodation to attend a wedding!0
