In 2009 we bought a cooker from Ikea with a 5 yr guarantee on all parts. In 2010 we had to have a replacement cooker element. 9 weeks ago the element went again including another element and one of the door hinges broke. I rang Ikea and they sent out the guy to replace it, no fuss. Then the fun began, he had to order the parts, said they should take a week and so booked a date for a weeks time. 8 weeks on we are still waiting for 1 part. I keep ringing the company and all I get is we are still waiting. Then 2 weeks ago they decided to get the part from a different supplier, I am still waiting!! What are my rights in demanding this part or a new cooker, I am sick of cooking microwave and slow cooker meals for the family!! any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you been back in touch with Ikea? Your contract is with them so you shouldn't be dealing with the repair company, its Ikea's problem to resolve.0
