Replacing showers advice

Hi

My Husband and I bought a 4 bed house last year and are now planning to do some renovations and looking for some advice. We have 2 showers in the house which we are looking to replace, one in the en suite which is a power shower (very noisy think it was original from when house was built 13 years ago, I know power showers are noisy anyway but this is loud) and a shower over the bath in bathroom which runs off the hot water tank and has no pressure (would be better holding a watering can up), both are supplied with hot water from the hot water tank (no combi boiler)

Just wondering what the best options for shower types to replace them both, needing extra pressure for the bathroom shower as a minimum anyway, probably going to be first to change, planning on replacing the bath also so getting behind tiles etc not an issue. Have thought about changing the boiler to combi but as exisiting one works (having just spent about £500 on it in Jan replacing a fan) it not top of the list, and not sure if it actually suitable for our house but would be interested in hearing peoples thoughts

Many thanks

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Name Dropper
They've probably been arround for ages bit I only recenty found out (via a post on here) about digital showers ( don't get too bogged down on the digital bit )

But they seem to make doing a shower upgrade very simple

Biasically a small pump /control box in the ceiling and the mixed water coming back down the center of your shower head holder

Thanks for that file, bit of light reading there for OH, been trying to persuade him to get someone in for advice but he says he'd rather look into things first... So that looks like good starting point for him :)
