Brown tomato leaves

Hi,

Quick one.

Below is a pic of my tomato leaves.

The leaves have brown spots, is this normal?

It's a pick-a-tom variety.

Thanks.

The lower leaves of tomatoes do degrade a bit, especially with plants as well on as yours are. It doesn't look like a disease to me, some people would (carefully) remove the leaves to allow maximum light for ripening the fruit, personally I would leave these on a little longer because they will still be doing their job. Good toms, though, well done!

It might be sun burn r wind damage. Water drops after watering can focus light and cause burn too. Your tomatoes are nice and early.

I have a tube in the centre of the pot to focus the water down in the roots. They live outside.

I have never grown tomatoes before, I'm just taking it as it comes and posting on here if I don't know or can't find out.

Is it normal for no new buds to form? Does it grow what it has now and then just stop?

    Thanks :)

I didn't realise the plant was early...

It's in a real 'sun-trap' part of the garden so maybe that helps.
