I have an essay to write and i keep getting adverts from something called ciD.

They have sound and are coming up every other secound offering free lap top, dating, parents for orphaps, u name it and i cant do my work!

Running prevx seems to be the answer.

Have a look under add/remove programs to see if messenger plus is installed.If it is there should be an option to not recieve the advertising.If there is no option uninstall it and reinstall making sure you tick the box for no adverts.My daughter had this problem on her computer.It took me forever to find out what was causing it.

Eeek...I've got the CiD thing too - I suspect its come from Windows Live Messenger - as that's the only new thing on the PC (unless the teenager has been up to his tricks again.....hmmm).

Prevx here I come...
