I think my Dr thinks I'm mad...not sure what to do!

    I don't wish to give you medical advice, but was told by a previous GP x-rays can be useful in looking at the area even if bones are not the main focus, x-rays can give them a picture of what is going on even if they can't actually image the muscles and nerves etc.

    thanks, hope your right as I feel like I've wasted everyones times every time an xray comes back all clear.
    The GP told me (when I questioned why an xray) that this is the route to have an MRI which she felt I may need. She said an MRI may need to be done but sometimes nerves can be seen on an xray. I didn't question that as she is the Doctor and I am not a medical person but on my own research I cannot find anything anywhere to say xrays can pick up nerves or muscles. She seemed pretty sure it was a nerve issue though and even offered me pretty strong pills for a nerve issue before the xray was done.
