Investment Company to go with

Hello,
Which investment company should I go with to invest money. I know fidelity but they have a 0.25% switching fee, so I am a little reluctant to go with them.
I know of Hargreeves & Lansdown and Chelsea Financial services.
I dont know of any others. Which one would be best and why. If you know of any others please suggest.
Many Thanks.

are you looking for an investment company offering advice, or an execution-only service?
if you want execution-only, then who's best depends on which investments you want to buy, and how much you're investing, and on what tax wrapper (e.g. ISA or pension) you want to use.
that monevator guide (which freddie linked to) is especially good if you want to buy mostly passive investments, and are trying to work out who to buy them through.0
