Redundancy consultation whilst suspended

Whilst on suspension from work awaiting outcome of hearing, should I attend a consultation meeting where the plan is make my role redundant? At the hearing I said that it was not appropriate to attend a consultation meeting, however, I have since had an email requesting that I attend the meeting. Please advise. Thanks.

I would say yes, but make sure you have a witness with you. If you are unsure about anything you can contact ACAS or CAB for help.0
