While cleaning out an old cupboard today i came across my old Army payslips. On it it states I was paying as little as £10 to £180 a month into HPSS. I have since found out that it stood for House Purchase Saving Scheme. It was used to help buying a house when your service finished.
Has anyone any idea where the money may have gone?. Someone told me it was put into a building society type account, but I cant confirm this.I dont have any other paperwork for this scheme. I suspect its been swallowed up in the MOD mire.
