Hi all
Great website and forum. Lots of good chat for just about anyone looking to buy & rent plus save money on just about anything:money:. Currently in the process of moving into a flat I've just bought. Have written a seven stage home bueyrs guide which is much more impartial than all the others I read on the internet. Not the best looking site in the world but hope the content is helpful. Its written in blog style posts so that readers can add there tips at each stage. Please have a look and contribute if you have time to help first time buyers & "born again" buyers if you will. The seven stages are broken down as follows
Stage 1 - How much home can I afford
Stage 2 - How to find a property to buy
Stage 3 - Making an offer on a property
Stage 4 - Getting the keys to your first home
Stage 5 - How to move home
Stage 6 - Furnishing a new home on a budget
Stage 7 - Things to do when moving home is done
There is also an area to , please share your story however long/short new/old etc. because there are lots of tips that first time buyers will appreciate from the more experienced buyers, or even from the young first time buyers who've done it all before.
Feedback welcome, im just hoping to create a site where first time buyers can learn from other peoples mistakes and save money at each stage. Its an expensive and stressful process as many here will know so hope we can save money and stress for others.
Thanks
