Dilemma to solve

Hi. Today I signed up to the Cheap Energy Club. I'm currently with Co-op energy on an excellent rate, fixed till 31/7 after which it goes up by about 17%. Until early June I have the option to sign up to their new fixed rate which seems to compare reasonably with most others.
The alternative is to accept their variable rate which looks quite pricey.
I am finding it difficult to compare their FUTURE rate with others on the energy club site but as Co-op have been helpful and good to deal with I'm inclined to stay with them, but would welcome any helpful thoughts.

Use any Ofgem accredited comparison site

Thanks for the thought Wywth, but it doesn't really work as I can't compare future Coop rate with other suppliers and if I wait until the new Coop rate is current I lose the opportunity of signing up for their new fixed rate.
Shades of Catch 22 ? :-)0 -

You should input your existing co-op tariff into the comparison site.
It will then then give you all the other current, generally available options ... which should include somewhere in the list (you may need to look a long way down) the replacement co-op tariff you are now being offered

Hi. They are there, but the listings don't show the fixed tariff w.e.f. 1st. August.
However, using all 13 fingers plus the back of an envelope I can manage to figure it out!
Nevertheless the question Which Way To Jump still remains and unfortunately only SWMBO and myself can answer that. I should really have thought of that before posting the question.0
