Replacing an integrated dishwasher

Hi, we are planning to put our house on the market in the next few weeks/months and have been getting things ready. One of the problems needing fixed is that our intergrated dishwasher does not work.

Our tumble dryer broke as well recently and we called someone to look at both. The tumble dryer only cost £30 to fix but we were quoted £100+ for the dishwasher and advised it was not worth fixing at that price.

Now we are looking to replace it but obviously want to keep spending down, as it won't be us using the dishwasher and it is money that would go towards fees/deposits etc. I have seen a fairly cheap one the same size 600mm on gumtree and wondered if we bought would it be easy enough to swap the appliances over? Obviously like to keep the same door and everything and would probably get help putting it in.

If the one you've seen is an integrated one, it should be a fairly easy swap. I've gone through 3 integrated dishwashers in recent years and fitted them myself. The only pain was that the brackets that hold the decorative door on were in different places - new dishwashers usually come with a template for this - bear in mind you might not get one if the Gumtree one is second-hand, which will make it a little more difficult.
