Please excuse my ignorance, but does this mean that the postal entry will be instead of the online entry?

I really hope not. I'm disabled and am housebound most of the time. :(

Sometimes they have a postal not an online entry route, they did it with one a while ago (may have been the chase).

Found it, in June 2010 the Chase had some £15k comps (usually £7.5k), there was no free entry method and you could make unlimited paid for calls.

    This was one
This week's (commencing 14th June) competition for The Chase only has a phone entry (I don't know why).

To enter the competition, entrants must dial the PRTS phone number on 0901 29 39 321 and follow the instructions given on the PRTS phone line to correctly answer the competition entry question as stated in the programme, and entrants must also correctly answer a second randomly-selected competition entry question as indicated on the PRTS phone line.

Eligible entrants who have answered both competition entry questions correctly will be entered into a draw to win the prize. Failure to answer both competition entry questions correctly will result in that entrant being ineligible to enter the draw and their answer(s) will be deemed void.

Each call costs £1.00 from BT landlines. Calls from other networks may be higher and from mobiles will be considerably more. There is no refund for the cost of misdialled calls or where a caller fails to correctly answer any competition entry question.

sorry if I'm misunderstanding, but is the internet entry route for itv comps actually going....or is it rumoured to be going. and what are the timescales? and if it does go, is it just one postal entry allowed?

    thanks...

The STV competitions are phone, text or postal. They did do online for short while last year but they are back to phone or postal now.

Hope they do not go down this route :(

Thank you. I guess I'm just so used to ITV competitions having a free online route.

Personally i wouldnt blame them for going,
    text,phone postal ONLY.

Its not itvs fault that some people have loads and loads of mobiles, what they should do is 1 PHONE NUMBER PER IP ADDRESS ONLY - Problem solved.
Still comping, after 2 heart attacks 4th feb & 6th feb, and a stent put in.. 45 years old only:eek:

But they make the money for the prize from the calls that are made, they're not likely to try and cut down the number of calls that they receive, or cut out calls altogether.

both these refer to free entry only via the internet not the paid phone numbers
