Alternatively, I'd have been no worse off than I currently am by simply tearing up a £10 note. Very :money: - not.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Except you will have got nothing for the torn up money. I feel sure you will get something for your £10 that you spent with MD.
Out of interest would you have gone for the deal if it said that you will get the voucher on December 1st ?Thank you for reading this message.0 -

You still miss the point of all this with all your "out of interest" type posts.
They said we would get the voucher within 6 weeks of June 30th, provided they were registered by that time.
We could also nominate the £20 to go to a charity. Those that did so may be unaware that the charity is still waiting too!0 -
So what body do I go to officially complain when the 13th passes and I haven't got my voucher? £10 may not be a lot but I won't let it go if this turns out a con.
We have already been conned over the delivery of this deal - we paid on time but they repeatedly haven't met their side.
The offer stated the latest date the voucher would be sent, provided we registered the card in time. (Within 6 weeks of June 30).
We were told the deal was strictly limited, so no excuse they were swamped by mse promoting it via an affiliate link.
The asa will take complaints as will trading standards.
But isn't our best hope that mse take this up on our behalf? Mighty Deals said that mse had an affiliates link so presumably they got their commission - which we have paid!0 -
I will hopefully see a big Shell envelope in the post either today or tomorrow, if not then I have a phonecall booked with trading standards who are aware of the predicament. They are of the opinion that MD are in breach of contract, not Shell, & they say we could potentially all sue them for " loss of bargain " .
This isn't 100% confirmed, just an opinion at present from an introductory phonecall.0 -

You get post in a morning ! I remember morning post long long time ago when Britain was running normal.0 -
To sue them will take months! And the cost/time involved is just not worth it.
The bad publicity will hopefully make them sit up eventually.
Presumably none of the thousands who bought will ever do a mighty deal again,, and will be telling their friends to avoid them.
(And mse will be sorry they got taken in by their assurances previous poor service reported here and across the net was a thing of the past)0 -

Vouchers arrived here this morning too. Was starting to wonder if they'd gone AWOL at the sorting office.0
