Voluntary redundancy - Job Seekers Allowance question

Are you allowed to claim job seekers allowance if you take voluntary redundancy? The company I work for are making redundancies to reduce their overheads in case that's relevant.

yes you can....if you have sufficient NI contributions you would claim that for 26 weeks. Income based would depend on a partners income and/or savings0
