First Utility Cashback

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and hope someone can help. I visited Money saving expert around October 2012 interested in a cheaper gas and electricity supplier. One option was to check out the cheapest supply through a comparison site. I did this and chose First Utility....Not only a good tarrif but by using the link...I would get £40 cashback after 90 days supply, paid direct to my bank a/c. I have not rec'd the cashback to date and contacted First Utility today. (My supply began in December 2012). They said there was no £40 cashback incentive provided by them and to contact who I arranged the switch through. As it is now several months since this all started and I assume they mean: contact the 'switch site' rather than Moneysavingexpert. Has anyone any idea how I can find out which switch site this was as I no longer have the emails or the name of the switch site? Kind regards, Frenchcafe

Good luck with FU ( the clue in in the name).Unless you had cookies enabled to track the switch, and can remember the name of the myriad of switching sites used you wont get very far.
