there is a program pre-installed on the new pc for you to create the recovery image of how the pc is straight "out of the box". Do this onto DVDs, keep them safe...
THEN, use macrium or other similar prog to take a disc image at any time later which will be of the pc at that time, so will include anything you've installed/saved/etc. since that first switch-on.
That any clearer ??
I thought, there was a seperate one for "out of box" set up, without going online, and chancing importing infection.
Now I know it,s 2 seperate, things.
The first OS set up was my main concern, rather than pay currys £35.or, make my own.?
The you tube video of macrium, is not too clear, so need to practice, to be sure it,s right.
Will also follow DB,s rescue suggestion, was getting confused with the 2.Cheers both of you.
gonna download it to this pc, and practice.:beer:0 -

Does closed know you use xboot;;;not macrium, , but suppose you use both:-)0
