Old PPI on c/cards and loans in an IVA

My query...
I had 2 credit cards with MBNA, one with Capital One and a loan with Woolwich, all of which had PPI on them, which I knew I never wanted, but was bullied into having at the time.
Whilst I was always in control of my accounts, my now ex-husband drove us into an IVA, I think back in 2005. We split in 2007 and the IVA was closed as our circumstances meant that we could no longer continue the arrangement. It was not settled, but it was never pursued and doesn't even appear on my credit report now.
Could I file a complaint against the mis-selling of PPI still? And would any successful redress go straight into the IVA that no longer seems to exist? Are the loan/card accounts too old to claim from now?
Thanks

Yes. However, there are potential consequences. The debt may have not been pursued as they forgot about or couldnt be bothered. By complaining, you allow for them to reactivate the debt.
Also, if you complain and the complaint is successful, the lender can use the redress against the debt. So, you end up with nothing.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). Thanks for confirming that. It seems better that I should just let sleeping dogs lie and all that. Recently started getting my credit back on track and don't wish to ruin it all over again
