Specsavers Spectacle Wearer Of The Year 2013

"First prize: The overall Spectacle Wearer of the Year Award 2013 winner, announced at the grand final in London will win a two week all-inclusive holiday to St Lucia courtesy of Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa and Virgin Holidays, £250 spending money and a goody bag of Specsavers products. The holiday consists of two economy return flights from London Gatwick and all-inclusive accommodation in one bedroom garden view suite for two adults for 14 nights at Smugglers Cove resort, St. Lucia. Valid from 01 May – 30 October 2014. Reservations are subject to availability at time of booking. The prize is non-transferrable, cannot be exchanged and no cash alternative will be offered. The winner will be contacted by a travel representative of Smugglers Cove Resort & Spa and Virgin Holidays who will book the holiday on their behalf. The winner and the winner’s guest must hold a valid passport on the date of travel. If an EU passport is not held, then a visa may be required which will be the winner’s responsibility to obtain. Travel insurance is not included.

Overall winners of each age category will win a trip for them and a guest (winners must be accompanied by an adult if under 18) to London to attend the grand final and compete to be named the Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2013 on 10 September 2013 (grand finalists) including return economy by rail or air travel to and from London plus an overnight stay at a four star hotel on a bed and breakfast basis. Grand Finalists will receive a style makeover before the Spectacle Wearer of the Year Award 2013 ceremony to include an outfit and hair and makeup. Grand Finalists will also win a Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2013 goody bag which will include Specsavers products. The prize also includes a £150 Specsavers eyecare voucher (cannot be used in conjunction with any other Specsavers offer).


Regional finalists in each age category (regional finalists) will attend a nearby Specsavers Store for a photocall and be presented with a Spectacle Wearer of the Year 2013 regional age category trophy, a bottle of Champagne (if over 18) and a £150 Specsavers eyecare voucher (cannot be used in conjunction with any other Specsavers offer). Regional Finalists will be contacted by phone or email in August. Regional Finalists must be available to attend a presentation at a nearby Specsavers store and, if they win their age category, the grand final, which will take place in London on 10 September 2013 where the overall Spectacle Wearer of the Year Award 2013 winner will be announced. Specsavers will pay reasonable travelling expenses to the regional presentations for Regional Finalists."
