I do not usually get on well with banks, so far I have had accounts with
RBS
Natwest
Santander
HSBC
Cumberland
Barclays
And I can honestly say, the service from all the other banks is pants. No one actually wants to help you, everyone drags their feet ect...
Ive been banking with Barclays since Jan (not a long time) but in that short time they have honestly amazed me with their service.
From super fast telephone banking which actually do something over the phone, to helpful counter staff I am genuinely gobsmacked.
I phoned with a problem with my debit card, an unathorised payment which I had canclled. It was refunded onto my card immediately. Same with a Direct Debit Indemnity that I filed today - OVER THE PHONE. No "no no no you need to go in branch, only to go in branch and get told to use the little phone..."
So a big well done to Barclays, the best bank I have ever used!!
