Haha! I'm just hoping my rusty old GCSE French will get me by!0

Depends where you are moving to! If you are coming to where I am (Paris area) then definitely sell it before you come (or VERY soon after arriving in France). Enjoy! And if you have any questions about being in France, I've been here since 2008, so feel free to PM me

Hi Angelil,
Thank you so much for your kind offer! I hope you are enjoying it there. I'm definitely going to sell the car first and then fly over. Not sure where I'll end up yet, but I hope it will be a refreshing change to London.
Thank you.0 -
If it's of any interest, we exported our RHD car from the UK over 6 years ago to Italy. It was re-registered here and we still use it even though we also have a LHD vehicle. It is no problem driving on the other side of the road at all, in fact you can take the corners much tighter ......lolAs Manuel says in Fawlty Towers: " I Know Nothing"0

Thank you so much for your advice. Was it easy to register your RHD car, please? And what did you do regarding insurance?

Thank you.
Don't know easy in France, but here in Italy there are agents in most towns who do all the paperwork for you, we just showed them the export certificate. It then had to have a MOT (here its every 2 years). Whole process was quite painless!!
Insurance we have through a company called Clements International.
