I wonder if anyone has used both of these and if so, which in your opinion is the better?.
I have just installed both and have to say Evernote seems to "suit" me, so maybe I have answered my own question as it is just down to personal taste.

There are many similar packages - you might also like to try Microsoft OneNote, Google Keep - they both have different levels of sync-ing, depends how you like to use it. I have an Android phone, MSOffice on my Windows PC, find I use both0

Thanks, my chosen browser is chrome (on vista) and have recently bought a tablet running android. Having read your replies and bearing in mind what I would want to do, I think I will keep both.
It is more likely that web pages would be saved. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -
If you're using chrome and android, give Google Keep a try too - it's free on Google Play0
