Wonder if anyone might kindly be able to help? i have had the above printer for about a year and it is not printing correctly. I have run the maintenance tests on it,calibrating, printing a test sheet and cleaning the pinhead , but although it prints ok for the first couple of sheets it soons stops.i have done each test 3 times and it has new cartridges ,which I am now half way through ,along with a big pile of paper .arrrgh :mad:after running the tests ,the next piece of paper seems to jam, which it didn't before.
It worked fine before this.is it known for this and is there something else I could do to resolve it ? I would take it for repair but don't want to bother if it will be too expensive.
Does anyone have any experience with the same thing?
Thanks in advance for any help

Thanks santer . I did have a couple of those error codes but I tried all to resolve it but no luck.i hope it doesn't mean I'll end up getting a new printer, that usually seems to be what happens and I only bought it last march :j0

Hi Janec. I'm sorry this post is not much help with regards to your question but I have one of these printers and it's awful. Constantly losing connection to the network and all round more trouble than it's worth. When it does decide to print it does make a reasonable job of it though. It appears that Kodak are no longer in the printer manufacturing game and maybe this could be a reason why. At least the inks will still be kicking around for a bit should we ever manage to get the printers working properly!0

Thanks flicks ,good to know I'm not the only one ! I foresee a new printer in my future then .i only got a Kodak one as the ink costs were supposed to be low ,but what a false economy that turned out to be
In other threads I see that santer has recommended a couple of epson ones ,so I will bear that in mind .:j0 -
I had an epsom one in the past but then when I upgraded my pc the printer was no longer supported by them and so there was no driver to connect it, it was only a couple of years old as well so I've avoided them since.
That said I'm yet to buy a printer that has been simple to use, easy to load and without software full of pop ups and reminders0
