still waiting ....................
Can't your solicitor give him a deadline?
The friend I spoke about on your other thread is usually given 2 weeks to reply to any letters from his relatives' solicitors. The solicitors say that if he doesn't reply by then, they will go ahead with whatever they are going to do and tell the court that he is being uncooperative.0 -
We are going to hang on a bit longer, barrister says longer the stronger
Received a letter from dads doctor stating that the amount of meds dad was on would not impair his state of mind!

Still nothing apart from a big solicitor bill which we have to get a loan for to pay! We now cannot afford to take things further,
All we can do now is wait and see if he takes us to court, which he wont or dies!!
So wrong that a will cab be contested in this way. Fair enough for those who have genuine cases, but this a**e hole knows he doesn't stand a chance and is just being an awkward get!0 -

Hi, my wife is in a similar situation. A caveat was put in place by my father-in-laws son. No contact for 20 years, was named and written out of will, wasn't even Mentioned in previous will. A nurse signed the will as a witness etc...
Did you manage to shut it all down in the end?0 -
Hi Slimjimmy,
freda11 started another thread with an update, but unfortunately, it appears to be ongoing.
