'Energy Online January 2014' is not a fixed rate tariff it is a tariff that discounts the standard tariff by 3% until January 2014. So if the standard tariff changes so will this one. Suppliers are not required to waive exit fees for these tariffs unless they change the level of discount but that doesn't mean they won't do it, if asked.0

Or maybe you didn't look at the reverse of the letter

Second from last paragraph " Changing Supplier"
There is no mention at all the I would not have to pay the exit fee in this paragraph or anywhere else. On line the exit fee is also shown.
Maybe you received a different letter to me.On the internet you can be anything you want.It`s strange so many people choose to be rude and stupid.0 -
