We do not advise ignoring these days now that we know about the sort of wording likely to win a POPLA appeal at the PPCs' expense. It's all good, raises the subject of PPC scams to the attention of certain authorities and is much better than ignoring and worrying about a possible small claim for months/years.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Just a quick update. Today we received a copy of the evidence submitted by Parking Eye in defense of their PCN. Huge amount of paperwork, I'm guessing from what I've read nothing surprising though. No copy of the contract between PE and the landowner as requested. All of the losses outlined relate to the provision of their service, the cost of signage, cameras etc.

You would think they would have learnt by now but .....

You will win at POPLA based on what you've said above !

Well, today I recieved the POPLA decision and the appeal was allowed!!! Over the moon - feel like a huge weight has been lifted. Thank you so much Kirlbyinfernesslad you are an absolute star! Forever grateful for all your help.

The appeal was upheld on the basis that PE were unable to prove actual loss and the money they hoped to recover all related to the provision of their business.

Excellent zaly :) can you post up the full popla decision minus personal info ? Thanks
When posting a parking issue on MSE do not reveal any information that may enable PPCs to identify you. They DO monitor the forum.
We don't need the following to help you.
Name, Address, PCN Number, Exact Date Of Incident, Date On Invoice, Reg Number, Vehicle Picture, The Time You Entered & Left Car Park, Or The Amount of Time You Overstayed.
