This is hopefully a simple enough question but I was just wondering when buying a house it is possible to use the same solicitor to carry out the conveyancing as the person who is selling the property or would it be best to use a different solicitor?

It is not possible to use the same solicitor.
It is legal, but inadvisable, to use different solicitors within the same firm.
Far safer to use totally different firms.0 -
