Responsible travel

Hi

i wondered if anyone had been on a holiday with https://www.responsibletravel.com

my oh and i really want to do a short volunteering holiday somewhere a bit different but there are so many companies charging very different prices.

i bought an ethical travel book but that just confused me more

please help - any advice gratefully received.

    They are just agents for other responsible tour operators. I.E They take a % of your holiday, which you take with someone else.

    They were set up by someone high up ex-Body Shop, and have a good reputation.

    Maybe you should say where you'd like to Volunteer, and what type of volunteering, and someone here might point you in the right direction.

    You could have a look in the back of the Big Issue Magazine as they have adverts for volunteering holidays in there sometimes.

    we are thinking of volunteering either wildlife or teaching - sri lanka

    or teaching either nepal / tibet / china

    something along these lines

  • we are going to try a 2 - 3 week trip and then if all goes well come back save for 6 months - then take a career break - rent the flat and go
